Travel for Women Over 50
Traveling as a single Going on vacation alone: for many it's almost a nightmare, or at least not compatible with absolute comfort. But why is it so hard for us to go on vacation alone?
Point one - the surroundings
Clearly. As a single, possibly still looking for a life partner or freshly separated and not ready to enter a new relationship, we find it hard to relax. Especially in a setting full of couples newly in love and families. Memories or wishes come up inside you and you wish you weren't alone right now. But it's hard to avoid these impressions in a packed club hotel.
Point two - the price
A single room or a double room for sole occupancy for a whopping $1,000 for a week. If you travel as a pair, you pay only $650 per person for the double room. It only makes sense: for many people, going on vacation alone doesn't pay off. Often it's simply too expensive. The logical conclusion: four singles can't afford a vacation. So if you want to appeal to more singles, the pricing system needs to be talked about.
Point three - the offering
Another point that keeps single women above a certain age from wanting to go on vacation is the offering. They simply no longer want to just lie on the beach and stuff themselves at an all-inclusive hotel. Many people, and women in particular at an older age, want to experience something, to get to know the country and its people. Most package tour offers are simply no longer a fit.
The solution: travel for women over 50
A very specific offering, just for women over 50. An offering with cultural content, fair prices and only for women. That's not a new invention, it already exists, at least something similar. Some providers like Polster und Pohl already offer trips for the more mature age. The problem there, though, is quickly that you don't feel comfortable among older, sometimes much older, people. But the goal of a vacation is to feel good. Travel for women over 50 therefore offers not only a break from everyday life, but the women see something of each individual country and learn something about the culture. Not a pure beach vacation, and yet relaxation doesn't fall short. Furthermore, real friendships, or at least vacation acquaintances, can develop, and you no longer feel alone among all the couples at the hotel. On the other hand, a very important point must of course not be forgotten: the price. On a trip for women over 50, which mainly involves single women, the price naturally has to be adjusted. It must no longer be a disadvantage to go on vacation alone.
